Volunteer Day at Owens Falls Sanctuary
Saturday, April 30th
Join us for an afternoon of stewardship and restoration activities at Owens Falls Sanctuary. Land Conservancy staff and volunteers will remove invasive plant species and plant native shrubs and trees in a newly installed deer exclosure. Doing so will provide needed biodiversity in a young portion of the forest. We will also plant a white oak tree.
We plan on performing general spring clean up activities such as litter removal as well. Please bring a shovel and gloves if you have them; the Land Conservancy has only a limited number of tools available. The rain date for this event is Sunday, May 1st.
