Post-Thanksgiving Hike at the Floating Fen Preserve

Floating Fen Preserve

Date: Friday, November 28th

Time: 1:00 p.m.

Limited to the first 25 registrants

Walk off that holiday meal and immerse yourself in one of Western New York’s most extraordinary natural areas! Join the Western New York Land Conservancy for a guided hike at our newly opened Floating Fen the day after Thanksgiving.

Explore a rare floating fen and forest ecosystem—one of Western New York’s most special natural treasures. You’ll learn what makes a floating fen so unique and walk through peaceful woodlands surrounding this incredible wetland.

This is a unique chance to experience the preserve during the quiet beauty of late fall, when the leaves have settled, the air is crisp, and the landscape feels calm and reflective.

Space will fill quickly. Reserve your spot today and experience one of our region’s most magical landscapes in a whole new season!

Register below.
