Last year, the Western New York Land Conservancy broke tradition—and it was a huge success! We traded in the formal gala for something a little more relaxed, a little more fun, and a lot more connected to nature. Our first-ever Conservation Celebration brought together friends, families, and supporters for a joyful evening of music, food, and community under the trees at Blueberry Treehouse Farm.
We’re excited to announce that the Conservation Celebration is back! This year’s event will take place on Thursday, September 25, from 6 to 9 PM at the beautiful Blueberry Treehouse Farm in West Falls.
Join us for an evening filled with live music from The Blue Velvet Band, a beloved Buffalo-area band. You’ll enjoy delicious local BBQ (with plant-based options) from Decisions Catering, and a wide range of fun nature-based activities for kids—including a scavenger hunt and s'mores. Yes, this is a family-friendly event and children are warmly welcomed!

What are the food options?
There’s something for everyone at this year’s Conservation Celebration! You can choose between a classic BBQ meal featuring BBQ chicken, hickory-smoked pulled pork, BBQ jackfruit (vegetarian), creamy macaroni & cheese, potato salad, coleslaw, buttered corn, and rolls with butter. Please select your preferred meal when you purchase your ticket.

Where do I park?
Parking is free and available at The Blueberry Treehouse Farm and across the street at the Mill. More parking options are being secured and we will send a pre-event email with final parking instructions. If you are able to carpool that would be great!
Are there activities for kids?
We are so excited to make the Conservation Celebration a family-friendly event. There is an amazing natural playground for kids, a coloring page and scavenger hunt (with a prize) in the event program, lawn games, and a s'more station. Our friends at the Eastern Monarch Butterfly Farm will also hold a butterfly release to kick off the event.
